Welsh Coast Warzone III - Triple Impact! July 17th!

Following the success of the last tournament this will be one of two tournaments in the next two months.

Unlike the previous event Matt will not be running this with me as he will be home. Sadly this limits us somewhat as he brought along the PS3's last time. Tom, the owners of the venue also said he wont be able to supply the extra 360's. I feel last time we had more than enough consoles so I'm sure things will be alright. Unless someone offers to bring a PS3 this will be a 360 based event. But do not panic as I have a spare fightpad and will be able to borrow my stick out.


Pricing

It will be £10 entry for the tournaments and consoles. This gives you access to casuals, both tournaments entry and a chance to win prize money much like last time.

This is a LAN centre and there will be PC's avaliable. However it will cost an extra £5 to gain access to them which is paid to the owners of the venue. (Need to confirm this with Tom)


Super Street Fighter 4 Tournament

REGISTRATION IS FROM 11:15am to 12:59pm!
You will be asked for your name, alias and character. If change your mind you must contact me or my staff before 12:59pm to change.

I'll be asking about things such as character lock at the event to get an idea on what people want for the future.

• Double Elimination tournament with possible Groups stage depending on turnout.

• This is a Bring Your Own Controller event and the staff/organisers are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Your belongings are on your watch, not ours.
• The tournament will be One Character only, if you switch you will be removed from the tournament without any prizes.

I can and will lend out my stick to those without one but please respect my stick as last time my stick went all over the place. If you want to borrow just ask me.

There is a sloght, very slight, chance I might be going to West Wales this weekend though but I will let you know as soon as possible if that's the case to free the slot up. For those of you wondering about tournament prizing; After charging £10 entry (which includes venue and tournament) there was a first place prize of £60, second place got £20 and third place got £10. This was based on an attendance of roughly 23 players.

I wont be attending this tournament because of work etc. But there will be another in August which I shall do my best to attend. Thanks to all you guys who continue to attend the tournaments and support the Welsh scene.

Reminds me, can't remember what you guys were using (GGPO or what) to play Third strike on the laptop last time, but if you're doing the same thing, I can bring mine down aswell as I have Third strike and CvS2 on it for people to play around on.
